A 24-year-old individual has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, which may have been missed due to continuous burping

Bailey McBreen, a young nurse from Florida, recently received a shocking diagnosis of stage 3 colon cancer after ignoring an unusual symptom of continuous burping. Despite leading an active, healthy lifestyle, McBreen noticed that something was amiss when she began burping excessively, a symptom she deemed strange since she rarely burped before. Unfortunately, her symptom progressed to acid reflux and stomach cramps, which her doctors dismissed as anxiety. As an experienced nurse, McBreen felt an obstruction going on inside her body, prompting her to get a CT scan that revealed a tumour growing in her colon. In a complete state of shock, McBreen states that excessive burping might not be a textbook sign of colon cancer; however, her oncologist believed it was the start of her symptoms.Following the diagnosis, McBreen has decided to take charge of her health and fight the disease while refusing to let it define her. She switched to completely non-toxic living, only using nontoxic beauty products, cookware, and household cleaning supplies. She reminds others that cancer does not discriminate and any new symptom, no matter how trivial it may seem, should be addressed because it could be a sign of something serious. Although colon cancer is rare for someone of her age, affecting only two in 100,000 people yearly, McBreen’s experience highlights the importance of being proactive about one’s health and seeking medical attention when necessary.
