A father was allegedly pulled out of his car and executed in the street in broad daylight at the age of 24, he and his wife were pulled out of their car and shot and tried to end both their lives in the middle of the day, in the middle of the day.

On the eve of Father’s Day, a young father named Gyovanni Arzuaga was allegedly executed in the middle of Chicago.

The live broadcast shows Arzuaga and his girlfriend, Yasmin Perez, being violently removed from their vehicle by a group of individuals during a celebration for Puerto Rican People’s Day. Arzuaga and Perez had two children in common.

In the video, the group of people appear to pull Arzuaga and Perez out of their car before dispersing them.

As Arzuaga and Perez lie on the cement, a man appears to approach them and [shoot] at point-blank range.

According to reports, the shooting occurred at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday in Humboldt Park. Both victims were transported to the hospital, where Arzuaga was pronounced dead.

Perez suffered with a gunshot wound to the neck and arrived in critical condition at the hospital. And details about the violent exchange remain lingering.

“He was just there to have a good time and go home.” Said his best friend Jae Pacheco who spoke of his friend’s sudden death. Pacheco continued, “He was an incredible friend, he was wonderful, he was surrounded by good vibes and really good people.”

On Sunday, a memorial was held in Arzuaga’s honor at the site of the shooting, with balloons, flowers and signs reading “Happy Father’s Day.

Arzuaga’s death continues to attract media attention and outrage, but the tragedy is sadly one of many.
