Some parents at an unusual private school in New York City are angry after learning that first graders learned about masturbation, and also told their parents and grandparents that they should not touch without their consent.

According to reports, a Dalton School teacher student showed a video of the cartoon series “Amaze.”

A boy in the video talks about erections “Hey, how come sometimes my penis gets bigger and has an air view?” The boy adds, “Sometimes I touch my penis because it feels good.” While a girl added, “Sometimes when I take a bath I also like to touch my vulva.”

Some parents were discouraged, the New York Post reports, but the real anger came from consent.

According to reports, students are taught not to let their parents or grandparents touch them without asking permission first.

One mother added to the post, “now it turns out I’m paying these fools 50,000 to teach my daughter that she shouldn’t be hugged by her grandparents when they see her.”

While another mother complained that if she stood up for herself, she would be cancelled.

A school spokesperson said, “As part of Dalton’s wealth health management plan for students, a lesson on gender and bodies included two evidence-based, age-appropriate videos approved for 4-year-old students.

These videos focus on nationally recognized methods and standards.”
