California gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner, a Decathe Olympic gold medalist who is now transgender, said Saturday that biological men who identify as transgender should not be allowed to compete at girls’ sites because it’s not fair.

“It’s about fairness,” Jenner said, when asked about the reaction to U.S. legislation banning biological men, offering them to compete against girls in school sports.

When asked if those beliefs were “delegitimizing” of a person’s gender personality, Jenner replied, “Have a good day.”

Jenner tweeted a link to the interview, writing, “I wasn’t expecting to have been asked about my Saturday morning coffee, but I’m clear on where I stand.”

An adviser to Jenner told Axios that Jenner is “socially liberal and fiscally conservative.”

Jenner criticized California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom’s “overly restrictive shutdown” and noted that the state’s taxes are “too high.”

He added: “This is Gavin Newsom’s California, where he orders us to stay home but goes out to dinner with his friends and family,” Jenner added.
