We can’t turn back the clock to a terrible 2020, but what if we pretend it never happened? What if we just deleted the last few years from our minds? Believe it or not, Dunkin’s new spring menu could help us get there. The coffee and donut chain has just announced its new seasonal products. At the top of the list is every millennium’s favorite food in the mid-2010s: avocado toast.

Dunkin add avocado toast to its spring menu

Dunkin announced the new menu items on Wednesday and teased the delicious bites to stock up on brunch or lunch while on the go. Both items are available now with the launch of the chain’s full spring menu.

For $ 2.99, a far cry from the sky-high prices some restaurants charge for the toast, customers can try creamy avocados on sourdough bread topped with bagel spices. While take-away avocado toast sure sounds like it could get messy, it seems like Dunkin figured it all out and served the fare in a “special portable box” for easy transportation.

“Avo for everyone,” Dunkin ‘boasts on their latest launch. The chain’s interpretation of this modern classic is described as “a spread made from four simple ingredients: avocado, sea salt, black pepper and lemon juice” served edge to edge on Dunkin’s authentic toasted sourdough bread, baked from a recipe specially made by Dunkin ‘with a real one Sourdough starter created for a flavorful twist. “(Sounds like Dunkin ‘has a quarantine hobby!) Everything is topped off with Everything Bagel Seasoning and served” in a special portable box. ”

What would a ruthlessly bulging millennium expect to pay for such luxury instead of building a nest egg? Well, actually only $ 2.99.

“Dunkin’s new avocado toast is the definition of quality delivered at the speed of Dunkin ‘,” said Jill Nelson, vice president of marketing and culinary for the chain. “We took a popular brunch staple and made it available to those looking for something light and tasty to take on the go. With simple ingredients at an affordable price, Dunkins Avocado Toast is the latest feel-good addition to our evolving menu.”

Of course, as we’ve slowly learned since 2017, there are other foods besides avocado toast – and Dunkin ‘has also added some of them to its spring menu. Those looking for hearty options can now choose between two different grilled cheese melts: one with and one without Black Forest ham. Probably not by chance, these melts are also served on sourdough bread with white cheddar and American cheese.

The coffee chain strolls into spring in a hearty fashion, adding avocado toast and two types of grilled cheese to their seasonal menu.

The trendy toast is accompanied by two types of grilled cheese on sourdough bread – one with ham and one without. The grilled cheese melt includes white cheddar and American cheese, while the grilled cheese melt with ham adds Black Forest ham.

Dunkin ‘has also added an abundance of seasonal drinks, both new and returning: a cold brew with a sweet cold foam (which has a “vanilla flavor”), a chocolate-heavy cold brew with a sweet cold foam, the Charli-cold foam (billed as “A remix of Charli’s go-to-dunkin ‘order that debuted on the Dunkin’ menus in September 2020”), the Blueberry Matcha Latte (reputedly a “combination of our sweetened matcha green tea powder mix with Blueberry Flavor and Guests ‘Choice “Milk (sold hot, frozen or frozen) and Irish Creme Flavored Coffee (which has the taste of Irish Creme Whiskey but unfortunately not the alcohol). Whether Dunkin’ would be willing to match the tempting powder Replacing the green color of the avocado spread is a question to ask yourself at the store.

Dunkin ‘is also doubling in the Matcha market this spring, adding a new Matcha Topped Donut and Blueberry Matcha Latte to their menus today. The drink is available in hot and frozen versions. Dunkin’s Avocado Toast is $ 2.99, a far cry from some restaurant prices
