Ex-prison warden regrets viral cell encounter with inmate at HMP Wandsworth

A former prison warden and OnlyFans creator has expressed regret after intimate footage with an inmate at HMP Wandsworth went viral, prompting arrest and a prison sentence

The story centers on Linda De Sousa Abreu, a married mother and content creator, who became a household name after a clip emerged showing her engaging in sexual activity with a prisoner inside HMP Wandsworth in south London. The video, which circulated widely online, shows the pair in a cell with the woman smiling back at the camera while the inmate stands behind her. The footage was reportedly captured by a fellow detainee and sparked immediate public and official attention, setting in motion an inquiry into staff conduct at the jail.

Abreu later acknowledged the incident and described feeling deep remorse. She admitted to an inappropriate relationship with the prisoner and to exchanging messages on a mobile device the inmate had illicitly brought into the establishment. After a trial for misconduct in public office, she served part of a sentence and has since said she is focused on repairing her life and parenting responsibilities. The case raises questions about boundaries, prison security, and how personal behavior by staff can undermine public trust.
