Georgia Tech Football 2026: Mini Plans, Stadium Upgrades, and Season Highlights

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are gearing up for an electrifying 2026 football season, and fans have plenty of reasons to be excited. From new ticket options to significant stadium upgrades, the Yellow Jackets are set to deliver an unforgettable experience. The 2026 season promises to be one of the most anticipated in recent memory, with a mix of high-profile matchups and a renewed focus on fan engagement.

As the Yellow Jackets prepare to take the field, fans are encouraged to secure their seats early. Whether you’re a season ticket holder or looking to catch a few key games, there are plenty of options to ensure you don’t miss a moment of the action.

New Mini Plans Offer Flexibility and Savings

For the 2026 season, Georgia Tech has introduced two exciting mini plans that offer fans flexibility and significant savings. The White and Gold Mini Plan includes tickets to three of the most in-demand home games: the season opener against Colorado on Thursday, September 3, Family Weekend against Mercer on Saturday, September 19, and Homecoming against Boston College on Saturday, October 24. Starting at just $115, this plan offers a 15% savings over purchasing tickets individually.

The ACC Pick-3 Mini Plan allows fans to choose three of the Yellow Jackets’ four Atlantic Coast Conference home games. This plan includes matchups against Duke on Saturday, October 10, Boston College on Saturday, October 24, Louisville on Saturday, November 7, and Wake Forest on Saturday, November 21. Starting at $96, this plan also provides a 15% discount compared to single-game purchases. Notably, Georgia Tech’s ACC home slate features the defending conference champion, Duke, as well as two teams that won bowl games in 2026: Louisville and Wake Forest.

In addition to the savings, purchasing a mini plan gives fans the opportunity to select the best seats available in Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field before single-game tickets go on sale later this month. This ensures that fans can secure their preferred locations for these highly anticipated games.

Stadium Upgrades Enhance the Gameday Experience

Georgia Tech is committed to providing an exceptional gameday experience, and significant upgrades to Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field are underway. The $70 million renovation project, part of the broader Full Steam Ahead initiative, aims to modernize the stadium while preserving its historic charm. The renovations, set to begin immediately after the 2026 season, include the installation of a large videoboard at the south end, a state-of-the-art sound system, new clubs, a speakeasy, and a range of deluxe suites.

One of the most notable changes is the introduction of bleacher-mounted, non-flip-up, mesh chairback seating. Initially, plans called for chairback seating to replace the current bleacher-style seating across the entire stadium. However, due to compatibility issues with the existing structure, project architects and construction managers opted for attached chairback seating that will be affixed directly to the current bleachers. This solution not only maintains the stadium’s historic integrity but also increases the

The renovations are part of a $500 million campaign launched in fall 2026 to upgrade facilities for football fans and players, as well as basketball and volleyball athletes. The project also includes the recent expansion of the Thomas A. Fanning Student-Athlete Performance Center, a 108,000-square-foot facility designed to boost recruiting and enhance athlete performance, recovery, and wellness across several sports.

Season Ticket Holders Enjoy Exclusive Benefits

For those looking to guarantee their seats for all seven home games, full season tickets are still available. The 2026 home schedule features a mix of non-conference and ACC matchups, including high-profile games against Colorado on Thursday, September 3, and Tennessee on September 12. ACC battles against Duke, Louisville, and Wake Forest are also highlights of the season. With back-to-back sellout crowds to close out the 2026 campaign, securing season tickets is the only way to ensure you don’t miss a moment of the action.

Season ticket holders will also receive a limited-edition Buzz/Ramblin’ Reck bobblehead, adding to the excitement of the gameday experience. Additionally, fans can purchase season tickets to be donated to local heroes as part of Georgia Tech’s Military and Heroes Appreciation program, further enhancing the community impact of the Yellow Jackets’ success.

As the 2026 season approaches, Georgia Tech football is poised to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans. With new mini plans, significant stadium upgrades, and an exciting lineup of games, there has never been a better time to be a part of the Yellow Jackets’ journey. Don’t miss out on the action—secure your tickets today and be part of the tradition and excitement that is Georgia Tech football.
