The University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame & Museum is preparing for a significant event on February 24, 2026. This occasion marks the 16th Annual Celebrity Bowling Tournament and Game Watch Party, co-hosted by former Hurricanes men’s basketball coach Jim Larrañaga and All-American cornerback Antrel Rolle. The event will take place at Kings Dining and Entertainment in Doral, coinciding with a pivotal men’s basketball game between Miami and Florida State.
Coach Larrañaga, who holds the record for the most coaching victories in Miami’s history, expressed his excitement: “I am thrilled to be co-hosting this awesome event with Antrel that supports the UM Sports Hall of Fame & Museum. During my coaching years at Miami, I heard about the event but wasn’t able to join the fun. I’m happy to attend this year and be able to watch the FSU game with many of our great Canes fans!” His coaching legacy is well-remembered, particularly following his induction into the Hall of Fame and retirement after a distinguished 41-year career.

Antrel Rolle, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019, shares Larrañaga’s enthusiasm. He stated, “It’s that time of year again where we get things ROCKIN’.
