As Kanye West’s Thursday event generates widespread backlash for his collaboration with accused sex abuser Marilyn Manson, multiple sources report that Kim Kardashian West did not know about Manson’s involvement.

During the event at Chicago’s Soldier Field, the third listening party for West’s upcoming album Donda , Manson, 52, unexpectedly appeared on the porch of a replica of West’s childhood home on stage.

Manson, who faces four sexual abuse lawsuits and has been accused by more than 15 women of sexual assault, did not perform, though a spokesman for the musician told that his voice appears on the new album.

(Manson has previously denied the sexual abuse allegations).

West, 44, also faces criticism for including DaBaby at the event, less than a month after the 29-year-old rapper was criticized for making homophobic comments about the LGBTQ+ community. (He has since apologized).

Kardashian West, who attended the listening party and at one point took the stage for a reenactment of her 2014 wedding to West , “missed” Manson and DaBaby’s appearances, a source says.

“She was sitting inside a suite facing the back of the house on stage, so she wouldn’t have been able to see them from her point of view,” the source says.

“She wasn’t aware of what was going on at the show. She was only aware of what Kanye had asked her to do and was willing to help him.”

Another insider adds that while the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star , 40, wants to support her ex, she is “not happy” with him.
