Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, got a new job as a model. The 24-year-old model and actress is the face of Swarovski’s upcoming Collection II campaign, which according to the brand “will serve as a platform for the representation of people of all cultures and orientations”.
Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon launches new Swarovski campaign after being on the cover of Vogue
Leon, who is Madonna’s firstborn with her ex Carlos Leon, takes on Generation Z trends as she models a belly-baring sleeveless blouse, low-waisted jeans and her hair in the center part with Swarovski jewelry pieces wrapped around her body and teeth. She is also wearing a small jeweled grill.
Madonna’s daughter is no stranger to modeling: Leon has previously worked with Parade x Juicy Couture, Gypsy Sport and Stella McCartney. She also famously flaunted her unshaven underarm hair in a Marc Jacobs campaign.
Most recently, Leon was one of eight models to appear on the cover of the September issue of Vogue. For the cover titled “Generation America: The models changing an industry,” Leon was photographed alongside Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Precious Lee, Anok Yai, Ariel Nicholson, Sherry Shi and Yumi Nu.
In the issue, Leon got candid about being the daughter of one of the most famous pop stars of all time.
“People think I’m this talentless rich kid who’s been given everything, but I’m not,” Leon told the magazine, explaining that she paid her own college tuition and lives in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick, far from the glitz of Hollywood.
While it’s important for Leon to pave her own path in life, she and her mother Madonna share a love for something in common: dancing.
