On May 14, a tragic incident unfolded in Guelph, Ontario, when the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision on Hanlon Parkway. At approximately 6 p.m., officers arrived at the scene of a crash involving two vehicles, where they discovered a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim, a 40-year-old man from Cambridge, succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital.
Details of the Assault and Kidnapping
As the investigation progressed, OPP uncovered alarming details surrounding the victim’s death. According to a press release issued on May 19, it was revealed that the man had been assaulted and kidnapped from a residence on Fife Road prior to the collision. Five suspects are believed to have been involved in the abduction, fleeing the scene in two separate vehicles. They are particularly interested in locating a white 2013 Dodge RAM pickup truck with Ontario license plate BZ 85153, as well as a grey 2010 Toyota Venza bearing the license plate CVBX 602.
