The political landscape in Washington has taken a dramatic turn as President Donald Trump finds himself at odds with some of his most steadfast allies. Legal Reality Check: The Reflecting Pool Controversy

Pirro recently decided to drop felony destruction of property charges against former Olympian David Hearn, who was accused of damaging the Reflecting Pool near the Washington Monument. Trump initially vowed to keep Blanche as acting attorney general and push for Congress to pass legislation authorising the fund. However, the political math in the Senate proved undeniable, and Blanche eventually acceded to the senators’ requests, releasing letters that satisfied their concerns.
International Diplomacy: The Iran Dilemma
The most significant challenge, however, lies in the ongoing war with Iran. Trump has accused Iran of deceit amid another round of on-again, off-again negotiations and threats of overwhelming American military action.
