A mother in Atlanta filed a federal discrimination complaint against an elementary school, alleging that the school segregated students based on race.
Atlanta police Sgt. John Chafee reported that three people were arrested after allegedly assaulting a child “because of his sexual orientation.”
According to authorities, a pregnant woman was shot while sleeping in her apartment. The woman, who is 7 months pregnant, was wounded in the arm and thigh and was transported to the hospital.
