The Texas Tech softball team experienced an unexpected incident during a team outing at Lake Ransom Canyon near Lubbock, Texas. On Thursday afternoon, three members of the team were involved in a jet ski accident that resulted in injuries, but thankfully, no critical conditions were reported.
The accident, which involved two jet skis, occurred around 3:38 p.m. according to local authorities. The injured players sustained injuries to their extremities, legs, and hands. One player was transported to the hospital by emergency medical services, while the other two were taken by personal vehicles for further treatment.

The Ransom Canyon Police Department along with the Ransom Canyon Fire Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife are investigating the incident. A spokesperson for Texas Tech Athletics confirmed that all injured student-athletes have been treated and are expected to make a full recovery.
The initial 911 call was made at around 3:38 p.m., and the injured players were promptly attended to. The quick response from emergency services ensured that the players received timely medical attention. The team’s coach, Gerry Glasco, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and confirmed that everyone is recovering well.
