A woman was arrested after beating her baby, which caused her to violently hit the ground because she was “angry” with the father of her child, and it was all caught on video.

Officers received information that there was a video of an adult woman who had struck the child and that the assault was captured on video, explains a press release from the Peru, Indiana Police Department.
Authorities located the 10-month-old baby and Winch.
Fortunately, the baby was unharmed and was taken to safety with family members while an investigation into the alleged abuse was opened.
According to a police report, the initial report about the abuse and the existence of the video came from the baby’s paternal grandparents, who told police that Winch recorded the footage and sent it to their son, the baby’s father, during a video chat with him.
The 13-second silent clip, in which Winch is seen beating his son, was first shared online in a Facebook post by Joel Urbin, who said he was the paternal grandfather.
In the footage , Winch and the father appear to be in a split-screen video call, during which Winch hits the baby hard, punches him in the left side of the face and sends him to the ground with only a diaper.
The father can only watch helplessly as his son is abused before Winch briefly turns the camera to his face and the screen goes black.
The woman claimed that she had hit her young son “out of frustration” because the boy’s father “had refused to come and get him.” She also claimed that days earlier she had attempted suicide.
She was charged with felony domestic assault and intimidation and was held on $10,000 bail at the Miami County Jail.
