Donald Trump spoke during a pre-event for the boxing fight between former world champion Evander Holyfield and former UFC star Vitor Belfort and says he would knock out President Biden very, very fast.
Donald Trump says he would knock out President Joe Biden ‘very, very fast’
Holyfield, 58, steps into the ring in Florida, the home state of Trump, who agreed to sanction the bout when other associations would not, and Trump is scheduled to help commentate the fight alongside his son, Donald Trump Jr.
Before the fight, they decided to call former President Trump to get some of his trademark wit and insight – yes, really.
The emcee of the event asked him, “If you had to box someone on Saturday night, who would it be and what would the fight be like?”
Trump replied, “Well, if I could pick anybody in the world, not just a professional boxer, because I’ll overlook professional boxers, because that can be a very dangerous topic.”
“But if you said I had to box somebody, I think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden. Because I think he would go down very, very quickly. He once said ‘oh, I’d like to take him behind the bar’ [for a fight] but I’d be in big trouble if I ever did. I think Biden would go down in the first few seconds.”
Imagine the scene, a 75 year old Trump and a 78 year old Biden facing off in the ring, ‘Clash of the Presidents‘. Now that would sell a good pay-per-view.
