Jordan Lee became enraged when four-month-old Willow would not stop crying and shook her violently. The baby was rushed to the hospital, but died from head trauma consisting of severe shaking and probable impact to the head.

Lee, 21, then spun a web of lies, claiming that the child had possibly fallen while he was “too focused” on his video game.

But jurors realized his deception and convicted the vile father of murder at Preston Crown Court. Today he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 16 years.

Willow’s mother, Jade Bell, spoke of her anguish at having to “let my precious baby girl go.”

“Willow was such a beautiful, happy baby who had the best cheeky smile, and that smile always cheered you up and lit up the room.

We all miss her so much and there are not enough words to express it.”

!To have lost her at such a young age and in the way we have has impacted me and my family so much and my life will never be the same again without my sadness.”

“The first time anyone met her they instantly fell in love; I will always remember the amazing times I had with Willow and how she changed my life.”

He described his last memory of Willow “helpless with tubes and wires attached to her tiny body” while on life support as “something I will never forget.”

“It was heartbreaking, still is heartbreaking and always will be.

I feel all the overwhelming love I feel for her, and I feel the pain and horror of losing her every day,” the little girl’s mother added.

The court was told that Lee was babysitting Willow with her brother Daniel while Jade was at work on December 3.
