Renewed Celebrity Solstice unveils new dining, entertainment and outdoor spaces

Celebrity Solstice has returned to service after a thoughtful, wide-reaching revitalization that touches nearly every corner of the ship. The refit refreshes public areas, adds new dining and entertainment venues, and expands accommodation choices—modernizing the Solstice Class while honoring the ship’s original design spirit.

The most striking change is up top. Sunset Park has been reshaped and expanded to improve sightlines, circulation, and seating variety, transforming the upper deck into a true open-air living room. New landscaping and shaded nooks make the space comfortable in different climates, and the whole area reads less like a promenade and more like a year-round outdoor neighborhood.

Sunset Park now hosts programmed daytime and evening activities: group fitness classes, lawn games, and live music create a lively atmosphere, while rentable cabanas with attendant service offer privacy when you want it. For casual dining, the Sunset Park Café serves simple, seasonally minded breakfasts and lunches—sandwiches, quiches, salads and light plates—while the expanded Sunset Bar pours crafted cocktails and inventive nonalcoholic drinks with sweeping ocean views. Together these offerings turn the deck into a versatile social spine for the ship.

Food options throughout the vessel have been broadened and sharpened. Trattoria Rossa is a warm, family-style Italian spot celebrating Roman and southern flavors—think shared plates like chicken parmesan and tableside Caesar. Fine Cut Steakhouse answers the other end of the spectrum with dry-aged steaks and carefully chosen seafood for guests who want a more formal evening out. These sit alongside casual daytime concepts and tasting menus, creating a lineup that suits everything from spontaneous walk-ins to celebratory dinners by reservation.

Entertainment has been rethought around flexible, multiuse venues that change tone as the day unfolds. The Boulevard Lounge, a 125-seat space, swings from piano-bar singalongs and karaoke to interactive game shows, fostering a lively neighborhood feel that can mellow when the moment calls for it. The adjacent Boulevard Bar coordinates its cocktail program to match the lounge’s rhythm, maintaining an adaptable balance between reservations and drop-ins.

For a more relaxed, game-oriented night, The Parlor offers billiards, darts, board games and large screens for live sports. Comfort-food bites and craft cocktails complement the activity; a signature house drink—gin muddled with lemon, basil and a float of red wine—adds a memorable twist. The ship’s theatre and music programming also broaden the palette: expect everything from candlelit string renditions of rock classics to full-scale productions spanning musical eras, so nights can feel intimate or theatrical depending on the bill.

Accommodation upgrades were made to support the refreshed public spaces and dining options. All cabins received updates, and the ship gained 54 new staterooms, bringing the total to 1,479. New categories include several panoramic ocean-view suites and a Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View choice for guests who want more space and improved sightlines.

The Retreat—Celebrity’s premium enclave—received a careful refresh as well. It now features a private sundeck, an oversized hot tub, dedicated outdoor seating and a redesigned lounge, sharpening the ship’s upscale offering. AquaClass cabins leaned into wellness with spa-oriented touches: massaging showerheads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, premium robes and a pillow menu create a contemporary, restorative vibe.
