A teacher who was the rapist of an 8-year-old girl was sentenced to 80 years in prison for the crimes of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual abuse against the minor, who was also the daughter of his partner.

The abuses began in 2013 when Odilón “N” touched the victim, to whom he gave personalized classes and who was also her mother’s partner, threatening to harm her family
Odilón “N“, a private music teacher, was sentenced to 80 years in prison for the crimes of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual abuse in real homogeneous contest, against a minor of eight years old, daughter of his partner.
In the course of the Oral Trial hearing and with the evidence provided by the social representation, Odilón’s responsibility in the crimes was fully accredited.
It was reported that through the Specialized Unit for Sexual Crimes, the responsibility of Odilón “N” in the crime of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual abuse committed on repeated occasions against the minor was reliably accredited.
The investigations indicate that the aggressor continued with the sexual acts against the girl and it was in 2014 when the teacher forced the minor to have sexual relations with him on different dates.
After a year, the minor shared what happened with her mother, who filed a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Agent of the Specialized Public Prosecutor’s Office in collaboration with the Coordination of Expert Services and the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) collected the necessary evidence and obtained from a control judge an arrest warrant against the alleged perpetrator, who was arrested by investigative agents in June 2020.
