The map image included an artificial intelligence watermark indicating it was generated using OpenAI tools. The State Department acknowledged the mistake, stating that a team member had hastily altered the slide deck before the event. The presentation was led by Jeff Graham the top US health envoy overseeing the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
