YouTube star Adalia Rose was just 15 years old, but an ultra-rare rare disease caused her to age rapidly.

Becoming an internet sensation, she inspired people around the world by sharing her journey while living with progeria.

The condition causes a person’s body to age faster than it should and she quickly became unrecognizable as a teenager.

Progeria affects only about 500 people worldwide with a low life expectancy of only 13 years.

In a Facebook post , the family told their many followers the devastating news.

They wrote: “On January 12, 2022 at 7 p.m., Adalia Rose Williams was released from this world. She entered it quietly and left quietly, but her life was far from that.”

“She touched millions of people and left the greatest imprint on all who knew her. She is no longer in pain and now dances to all the music she loves. I really wish this wasn’t our reality, but unfortunately it is. We want to thank everyone who loved and supported her.”

People compared her to Benjamin Button, the theme song to the hit movie starring Brad Pitt that tells the story of a man who begins to age backwards.

Her clips racked up more than 170 million views on the video-sharing platform YouTube in 2018 before the disease really took hold.
